How can a salon make such a magnificent claim? You would expect Google or Microsoft to make such a claim, but not a salon.
AZURA's sole mission is to improve the lives of our customers. We are not in business to make money. Of course all businesses need to make money--even non-profits. Money is what pays the rent, utilities, supplies, vendors, and salaries. However, it is not the motivator nor the purpose of AZURA; money is merely an unavoidable necessity. In fact, we use profits to create programs that benefit our customers.
Besides the great service, quality of work, and high standards, AZURA is constantly looking for ways to make a positive impact on the lives of our customers. Recently, we established AZURA Pharmacy, a non-profit pharmacy that dispenses medications for high blood pressure, cholesterol, and diabetes. These are the types of medications that people will take everyday for the rest of their lives. Currently, AZURA Pharmacy only charges $2 (total out of pocket cost--no insurance) for a 30-day supply of prescription drugs on our formulary. With your help, we will eventually have over 200 generics on our formulary and will be able to dispense the prescriptions at no cost. Please go to the AZURA Pharmacy page for more information.

Why are we doing this? I wish I can say that I was born with a kind heart and it has always been my dream to help people. But the truth is: we are trying to get brownie points with the Higher Power upstairs. As Zig Ziglar puts it, "We are dead a lot longer than we are alive."
