Dr. Anthony N Huynh graduated from UCLA with a BS in Physiological Science. He received a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the USC school of Pharmacy and a Nuclear Pharmacy Certificate from the Purdue School of Pharmacy.

Dr. Huynh founded AZURA Pharmacy as a community outreach initiative meant to give back to AZURA Customers.

Are the medications from AZURA Pharmacy any different than those available at CVS, Walgreens, or Walmart?

AZURA Pharmacy carries the same generics approved by the FDA and the same generics also available at CVS, Walgreens, and Walmart.

What's the difference between the generic program at AZURA Pharmacy and the generic program at the chain pharmacies?

The chain pharmacies charge based on the number of pills you take. For example, a $4 generic at Walmart that is supposed to be taken once a day will actually cost you $8 dollars for a month's supply if you take it twice a day. At AZURA Pharmacy, a month's supply will only cost you $2 regardless of the number of pills you take.

How does AZURA Pharmacy make money providing prescriptions for $2 a month?

AZURA Pharmacy does not make any profits. The costs associated with dispensing, which is well over $2, is subsidized by AZURA Salons.

Do I need prescription insurance?

No insurance is needed. AZURA Pharmacy does not process prescriptions through your insurance. $2 is your total out of pocket cost for a 30 days supply.

Will there be changes made to the $2 Generics List?

Additional generics will be added to the List as more AZURA Customers utilize the pharmacy services and when specific prices of generics become cost effective.

Who is eligible to use AZURA Pharmacy services?

Only current AZURA Salon Customers are eligible to receive AZURA Pharmacy services.

Why is AZURA Pharmacy only open to AZURA Salon Customers?

AZURA Pharmacy was establish to provide a benefit to AZURA Salon Customers. The pharmacy is just one of the ways AZURA gives back to its customers.
